WLS, a ProMach product brand, announces the promotion of Michael Mora to the new position of Machine Reliability Manager. Mora is responsible for overseeing equipment lifecycle management to help manufacturers and contract packers optimize their WLS labeling systems for peak performance, from startup through long-term operation.
“Here at WLS, we take pride in setting new standards for aftermarket support by building close, lasting partnerships with our customers,” said James Buchanan, Director of Aftermarket at WLS. “As Machine Reliability Manager, Michael will assess customer needs, implement equipment upgrades, coordinate spare parts management and develop strategies for adapting and maintaining older systems. His hands-on expertise and technical knowledge make him the ideal person to help manufacturers and packers get the most out of their labelers.”
Mora brings experience in engineering, production supervision and sales within pharmaceutical, medical device and nutraceutical manufacturing industries. Most recently, he served as West Coast Regional Sales Manager for WLS and Pharmaworks, a position he will still hold concurrently with WLS. Prior to joining ProMach, Mora worked as Reliability Engineer and Production Supervisor at Kindeva Drug Delivery. He has a degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from California State University, Northridge.
"This role is an exciting opportunity to collaborate closely with our long-time customers to understand and address their unique goals and challenges,” said Mora. “By prioritizing lifecycle management, we help manufacturers and packers achieve precision labeling, even with machines that have delivered decades of service. I’m looking forward to bringing a fresh perspective and leveraging the WLS team’s incredible depth and breadth of knowledge to ensure system performance and reliability.”
